Friends of San Diego Architecture enriches the community through:
- its lecture series on architecture, design and the built environment
- awards and competitions recognizing promising architecture and design students and professionals
- activities that promote thoughtful interaction with our built environment
Started in 1985 by Harriet Gill, a social worker with stong interests in art and architecture, the organization has over a 32 year history of presenting lectures. Our audiences include both lay people and design professionals, lending to a unique atmosphere for dynamic and interesting community dialog.
