Balboa Park: Open Space in City Building

Laura Burnett, principal at Wallace Roberts & Todd LLC (WRT) will give us an opportunity to hear more about Balboa Park, one of San Diego’s most endearing treasures, and learn what we, the public, need to do to maintain and protect it for present and future enjoyment. Burnett brings a strong commitment to the principles of sustainability in her projects. Local projects include: Caltrans District 11 Headquarters in Old Town; Pawka Green, an outdoor commons area at Scripps Institution of Oceanography: and she is now leading a team of consultants in preparing the Torrey Pines City Park General Development Plan.
