Allard Jansen graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science, Architectural Design. After working for other local firms, Allard opened his own company, Allard Jansen & Associates in 1991. His office is in Solana Beach. He has received numerous awards in residential and commercial design. The company is currently designing custom homes in Rancho Santa Fe, Santa Luz and San Diego. It is also working on a 21- unit row home project in San Diego and preparing land planning studies in the Historic Covenant of Rancho Santa Fe.
Jansen is a hands-on architect. He helps develop initial designs and concepts and oversees the project from beginning to end. With the Kensington mixed use project, he was the designer/builder.
